A patented lip design and the patented combination of PTFE sealing lip and sliding bearing in the lip seal element provide the new dry running seal "SeccoLip" from EagleBurgmann with particularly high flexibility. These technical features help the lip seal compensate directly and safely radial deflections of the shafts in agitators, mixers and reactors.
Our subsidiary in Pune, India, has highly modern and energy-efficient test rigs and test facilities which are used to test, inter alia, mechanical seals under diverse conditions. The currently eight dynamic test rigs are operated with different media, e.g. water, alkaline solutions, hot and cold mineral oils, diesel and thermal liquids. On a special test rig, seals are exposed to different climatic conditions and strongly fluctuating ambient temperatures are simulated.
